Trentino Alto-Adige is located in the very North of Italy and it shares borders with Austria and Switzerland. It is world known for the beauty of its mountains and its landscapes.

There are also some important art cities, as Bolzano, called the “Gateway to the Dolomites”, and Trento, where is located the Buonconsiglio Castle.
What to taste:
Discovering the fantastic tastes of Trentino Alto Adige region is a pleasure for the palate. Typical recipes are made with products of local agriculture and farming. First of all the Tyrol smoked ham, “Speck”, and the famous “polenta”, made of boiled cornmeal and served as a first course with meat and cheese or mushroom sauce. This region is also famous for its local production of Val di Non apple, that are used to prepare the strudel, a typical dessert.
Trentino Alto Adige also boasts a remarkable production of prized wines, including Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot and Chardonnay.
